Ms. Akua ARTHUR- KISSI - Senior Evaluation Officer

Akua Arthur-Kissi is a project/programs management expert and evaluator with a background in knowledge and capacity development. She has been working on several evaluations (corporate, country programs and thematic evaluations) since she joined the Independent Development Evaluation Department (IDEV) at the African Development Bank ten years ago. She has led the evaluation on Supervision Quality and contributed to a major learning report on the Quality Assurance of the Bank’s Operations (2018). She also takes credit for her contributions to previous influential evaluations by IDEV: Budget administration, Procurement, Paris Declaration Review and Fragile States evaluations of the Bank. Prior to joining IDEV, Akua worked in the sector and country operations departments and the knowledge management unit of the Bank in various roles. She also worked briefly as a program associate with HIV/AIDs Program for West and Central Africa by the German Technical Cooperation, GIZ in Accra (1997-1998). She holds an MSc in Project Management from the Warwick University and is a Certified Knowledge Manager with the Knowledge Management Institute (KMI).
