Latéfa Camara is an evaluation officer who joined IDEV in January 2015. She has worked on various evaluation products including country strategies (Mozambique, Zambia, Guinea Bissau), corporate (CEDR), the self-assessment of the implementation of IDEV’s strategy, as well as validation of completion reports (XSRs and Regional integration strategy). Latéfa has also worked as a Junior Consultant for the Bank’s Institute for the Distance and e-learning initiative for capacity building in Tunis.
Prior to joining the African Development Bank (AfDB), she worked in the private sector for a mining firm (Vale BSGR in Guinea), as an Administrative Analyst in Guinea and for the Ebola virus response unit in Guinea in the Communication Unit.
Latéfa holds a MA in Development Economics from Kingston University London, a “Maîtrise” in Economic Analysis and Policy at the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar, Senegal. She is fluent in both French and English and has a basic knowledge of Portuguese.
