Olive Bonga is a Communications Consultant in the Independent Development Evaluation (IDEV) Department at the African Development Bank (AfDB) who joined in November 2019.
Prior to joining the AfDB, she worked for a variety of United Nations agencies including the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the World Food Programme (WFP), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as well as development and humanitarian organizations such as the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) and INTERNEWS. She has over 10 years of extensive experience in the areas of communication, reporting and resource mobilization in countries such as Senegal, Cameroon, Canada, Italy and Chad.
Ms. Bonga has studied project management at the Centre Africain d’Etudes Superieures en Gestion (CESAG) in Dakar, Senegal and holds a Master Degree in Law from the University of Yaounde II Soa, Cameroon.
